    Founder & Managing Partner

    Sue Jones is a seasoned HR strategist and U.S. Navy veteran with over 30 years of experience across hospitality, tech, and education. As the founder and managing partner of HR4VR, she helps vacation rental companies build strong, people-first cultures through practical, actionable HR solutions. When addressing the needs of her clients, Sue is especially skilled at transferring her knowledge, skills, and abilities across business channels in a personable manner. 

    Sue holds a master’s degree in business administration from Northeastern University and is both SHRM-SCP and SPHR certified. Sue co-founded Hospitality Heroes to ensure hospitality professionals have the support, connection, and leadership they need when crisis strikes.

  • Deborah Allen

    Managing Partner

    Deborah Allen rejoins HR4VR as managing partner, alongside longtime collaborator Sue Jones. With 20 years as an operational and people leader across hospitality, arts, and education, Deborah blends strategy, creativity, and HR solutions to serve the vacation rental industry. She’s passionate about coaching and training as tools to build high-accountability teams and people systems that perform under pressure and meet the demands of dynamic businesses.


    Deborah partners closely with owners, leaders, and managers to align HR programs and talent strategies with business goals. She applies her HR knowledge and skills to bring clarity to sticky, complex challenges. Deborah holds a master’s degree in education, an HR certificate, and is both SHRM-CP and ICF ACC certified.
